Bring your own props
If you would like to bring some special items to be included in pictures, for example;
- Christmas Book
- Favorite Ornament
- A sign
- A Blanket
- Santa Hat
- Mistletoe
- Favorite mug
- Favorite toy
(I usually provide items, but due to Covid & to help keep everyone safe and healthy, I feel it's best not to be sharing items.)
what to wear
Campfire Set Up
Think about what you would wear if you were going to a campfire? Hats, flannels, warm socks and walking boots. Maybe a scarf or a blanket to keep you warm. Earthy Solid Colors, maybe a puffy vest.
Studio
Studio theme is all white with accents of green & red. You can choose to go all neutral colors, like white, cream or gray, or you can add pop of color with traditional holiday colors.
Family
Colors don’t have to match but should coordinate well together, stick to a 3-4 palette of complementary colors, it can be mixed up with pants and dresses. Matching or complementing the background of your portrait will result in a more pleasing visual image.
Solid colors work best, texture is good as well.
Earty Colors
Choosing earthy colors will blend well with your surroundings make for a timeless image.
Adding color
Choosing to dress in neutral colors will blend nicely with your surroundings. I would suggest bringing accessories with a pop of color like a hat or scarf. (Santa hat)
Staying all Neutral
This look is simply classic, choosing the same colors as your surroundings will be very pleasing to the eye and make for a very classic look. We can add a colorful prop to enhance the image and give it a color pop.

This year I’m offering christmas minis right up until Christmas, on your schedule, so that I can take my time and produce quality images you will treasure for a lifetime.
Christmas is all about love and being together and your photos should embody that.
The theme this year is togetherness and love — however you envision that in your mind is how I want to capture it.
